Understanding the views and experiences of members and volunteers is central to our work on race equity and on wider diversity and inclusion. That’s why we’re running a race equity review and are seeking members from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds to share their views with us.
This review will help us to listen and understand the experiences of members, especially where they may have felt excluded or marginalised. The review will also help us to understand the strengths and weaknesses of Scouts’ approach to race equity and inclusion and to identify where gaps and opportunities lie, so that we can take meaningful action.
